The Sum of All Power

What is Power?

What is it’s source?

Hopefully, we will be able to answer these questions to your satisfaction. Once understood it will most likely change your perception of all existence.

It would be idiotic to deny the existence of power. It is all around us and without power there would be no existence. If existence itself, that also means us, depends on power we must of necessity understand its essence.

The worm, the snail and the turtle all exist without knowledge that it, indeed, does live, and goes merrily on its way. We, too, also go about our daily life without serious thought to who and what we are and how we came to be.

Let us examine this world we live in. It, too. exists and we might well wonder where it came from. So many questions and often too few correct answers. The correct answer may well surprise you. We will share that with you in a short while; but, first we must lay the proper foundation.

Einstein’s famous equation of E=MC2 explains how matter and energy interact and behave but it does not answer the basic question of where matter and energy came from. Our five senses do not inform us of all that there really exists around us. Scientists tell us that all we can perceive of the universe is really a very small or minor portion of what actually exists. We do not hear all the sounds that exist all around us as some frequencies are too low and some too high for us to hear and we do not see all the colors that exist in our world as we can not perceive the full frequency or spectrum of light. Things do exist in our world that we are not aware of.

Since something can not come from nothing we have to ask. Where does our world and universe come from? How did it come into existence? How did we come into existence? We must consider that some power must have brought it into existence and if we admit that, we must understand what that power is and realize that if this unknown power created our universe it must have existed before the universe was created. All this you may have known and asked before.

What we desire to know is, what is this previous existing power?

Power to be active and effective must have a source, just as fire must have a fuel source. As Einstein inferred in his equation E=MC2, energy produces matter and matter returns to it’s original state of energy, so too does power, or energy, require a source. This source must be something other than physical. The unseen source has to be something beyond what our five senses can perceive, as with some sounds and colors previously mentioned above. What is left? Dare we suggest that the source of this power is spiritual? Many do not understand the concept of spiritual power, but it exists just the same. If we consider this concept it requires that we ask, what is the essence of spirit? We must now as humans admit to our ignorance and seek these answers from a higher source and delve into the spiritual world. What do we know of the spiritual world? Most know very little and at the mention of this word they retreat from it and attempt to dismiss it as folly.  “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. Isaiah 55:8 Some who will not admit to a God may have to concede to a ‘creator’ or creative force.

God is ‘light’, 1 John 1:5 And what is light? Light is energy according to Einstein, and energy is power. We must now answer the question what is the source of power? It must be spiritual and scripture says ‘God is Spirit’        John 4:24 and It also says that God is ‘love’. 1 John4:8.

These three, light, spirit and love are all attributes of an omnipotent God.      The greatest of these is love which endures forever as an eternal attribute.

Love never fails – And now these three remain, faith, hope and love.  And the greatest of these is love.  Love abideth forever.   Love is eternal.           1 Cor: 13:13

Love is the answer we are looking for. The source of all power is ‘love’ and God is love.

“In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God from the beginning. Through Him all things  were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  John 1: 1-5

Because God is love, all  love emanates from Him and because He is the source of love, He is also the source of all power and the source of all creation.

Truth may be doubted, but doubt does not change the truth.                           Love gives birth to life and when you stop loving you begin the death process.

Pure love is pure joy.

Love….and live.

Perception vs Reality

1 of 3

Can perception actually seem real? What is the difference between perception and a vivid dream? Have you ever dreamed a dream that was a nightmare and seemed to go on forever?

Did your heart rate increase and cause your temperature to soar and have your perspiration to flow? Ever had your arms and legs thrash about on the bed?Perhaps most people have had these experiences at sometime in their life.Have you ever been hypnotized? Whatever you are told while you are in that state will seem very real and you will experience whatever you are told.If you are told you feel pain, then you will feel pain. If you are told you are very happy you will very likely laugh loudly.Isn’t it strange that you can experience sensations that in reality do not really exist. I have been told that if someone has a weak heart and they experience a nightmare wherein they are falling from some great height or if they dreamed they were about to have an automobile crash they might actually have a heart attack and might die. How powerful, then, is our mind that it can produce such real feelings even though it is only a dream or while under hypnosis? Both our mind and our body can be made to experience things that are only perceptions and, in fact, not really happening at all.

Now, another question for you. Suppose you can be made to believe you live in a world that seems real to you, but is not real at all. In that world you believe that you are rich, famous and have the very best that life has to offer but in reality you were under the control of some foreign influence and did not know you were poor, were not famous and worked at a job you didn’t like and were not at all happy. In your world of perception you had everything you wanted and in your real world you were quite ordinary. Now, consider the following. I recently read that scientists are now predicting that by the year 2020, that’s within seven years, they will have developed a chip which can be implanted into your brain that will allow you to access the internet.  Everything you can do with a physical computer on the internet you will be able to do with this implanted chip. You can download all information you are interested in. This is undreamed of power for the individual. With this chip you can also monitor your health and send this information to your doctor. This sounds great but what about ‘hackers? Could these hackers now control what you receive and even manipulate your desires and attitude? Could we actually become remote control subjects or slaves?  Yes, that is a very real possibility. The entire world is constantly influencing us. We are bombarded with messages of every conceivable nature and we must decide which is true and which is fantasy. It is even more important to determine the source of this influence. One could enslave while the other allows for free will. The possibilities are endless.

What would you choose to do?
